Hunter had his 3rd Grade Store Last week. They where learning about the In's and outs of opening a store and how to advertise and how to handle money$$$.

Halloween is one of best times of the year! LOVE IT!
We had a very busy and fun Halloween Day. The boys had a school Halloween carnival, then we had a huge Halloween lunch at our house for everyone then we headed off to go trick or treating with our friends over in Santa Clara. The boys had a blast running from house to house. We went to the greatest neighborhood, everyone had their houses decorated to the hilt and it was like a huge block party. We will be going back there next year for sure.
Hunter was a GIRL aka LADY GAGA with his friends Tallon & Taylor. He looked so darn cute. A few people thought he really was a girl dressed up like a punk rocker. HE didn't really appreciate that..lol
Hayes was GENE SIMMONS from KISS...Love it! He looked so good and he loved the make up.
Jarrett was a COWBOY..and boy O boy did he ever look so darn handsome. He loves where his Chaps, boots spurs and Hat.

The boys think that is the greatest part of carving the punkin's. They love to pretend to eat it, putting it on their heads and wherever else.
Their punkin's turned out great this year. We had a little help from Grandma and Shara.
I think the adults have more fun than the kids do.

October Camping

Here in St. George the best time of year to camp is in OCTOBER we think. The temps are finally in the 70's and we try and go as many time as we can...3 weekends out of 4 is great!
So we load up the camp trailer, the dirt bikes, Friends and Family and off we go.
We had great time each weekend. Hunter got a new BB Gun and he learned how to hunt birds, Hayes was also perfecting his shooting with his BB Gun and Sling Shot skills and Jarrett's goal was to get a dirty as he could and he succeeded out any problems, and do exactly what the two older boys were doing.

Truck Race

This is a late post...O WELL.
If anything NASCAR is happening in Vegas we are there. This time it was the Craftsman Truck Series Race...GO #4 truck RICKY CARMICHAEL!! Anyway..we spent the weekend down there with our wild & crazy friends and had a total blast as always.
After the race we headed down to Fremont street to hangout with all the crazy people..it's always totally entertaining down there. Plus we had to find our friend Chris someone to have another dance off with...we did find someone but the wild thing was is that the guy was at least in his 70's..gotta love it!

Can't wait until the next NASCAR event!!!

Our friends Mikie and Cheri had a spooktacular Halloween Bash!!! A night that will go down in Halloween History.
We LOVE to get dressed up, there is just something about putting on your costume and transforming yourself into something or someone else that is so EXCITING! WE LOVE IT!
Before the Party a few of us decided that since we where looking so HOT that we should go get something to eat before we headed to the party. We went to PLAYER'S SPORTS GRILL and Boy O Boy..It was a BLAST! Then off to the Party we went....

Fremont Street Videos

First off I just have to apologize for the poor video quality. It's all my fault :(. I was trying to use James' new fancy cell phone and didn't realize that I was turning it the wrong way..oops! Also the lighting isn't the greatest.
Anyway, while we where on Fremont street our friend Chris started dancing and before we knew it we had a huge crowd surrounding us and Chris and was having a dance off with some kid and a old lady??. When he was done he had people handing him tips...crazy fun.
If you have been to Fremont Street you know how AMAZING the light show is. Our favorite one is with one of the BEST rock band in the entire world "KISS" Not to mention my husband and Gene Simmons do have something in common...watch to see.

P.S. Tilting of your head right and left will be necessary.
I am totally ordering a new video camera so I won't have this problem again.

Labor day Weekend

No LABORING for us on LABOR DAY WEEKEND!!!
We headed to Sin City with our wiLd & cRaZy friends and had a ToTaL BlAst! We did a little bit of everything from shopping, going to the Speedway to hanging out down on Fremont Street for the WOODSTOCK rock fest, until the WEE hours of night...PEACE MAN! :)
Didn't get much sleep but totally worth it. Nothin' better that being able to spend some time with my wild, crazy and totally awesome husband!

Where does the time go? HAYES turned 7 on Sunday! He is the most AMAZING, HANDSOME, LOVING and mostly the FUNNIEST kid around. He is always cracking us up with his crazy dance moves to his funny little questions. Our house is never boring with him around.

He has so many hobbies and is a natural at all of them. He loves everything from shooting his bow to playing baseball. His one true passion would have to be his dirt bike. He loves this thing and has been an awesome little rider from the moment he got on it at 3 years old..he was trying to jump it with training wheels. He no longer has the training wheels (thank goodness).

All he wanted for his birthday was a TRAXXAS nitro gas RC monster truck (like Hunter's).
His brothers gave him a skateboard and he also got around $80.00 from family...SPOILED!

Washington County Fair

We had a blast at the fair this year. We went every night...WEDNESDAY was $1.00 ride night, The Great Bear Show, Dancing Heads and baby contest sign ups...THURSDAY night the freestyle motoX riders where there..FRIDAY was the first judging for the baby contest... SATURDAY started early and ended super late, the parade was that morning then off to the 2nd part of the baby contest. Jarrett was 3rd place this year. He was so tired and didn't want nothing to do with it. He won last year. Then they boys wanted to watch the magician and then the was a hypnotist. James ans Shara volunteer but it didn't work on them. Then off to do the Dancing Heads for the 2nd time, this is so much fun! They put a green sheet around your neck and body then place your head on another body in a video. We had a total blast doing it. I will try and post the video if I can figure it out. If you are familiar with Jib Jab its like that but you and move your mouth and head.
Last but not least it was DERBY time. It was a great Derby and we had a terrific time with the BULLARD FAMILY, DAVE & MAL, MY MOM & SHARA and of course all the KIDS.

Colorado Vacation

If I could live any where in the US it would be Durango CO...LOVE LOVE it over there. We (James, Jarrett & I....the other two boys were in Monroe) went on our annual trip to Durango, Silverton & Ouray. But this time we were able to stay for 10 days..YIPPIE!
The Durango Silverton Railroad has an amazing steam engine train that travels between Durango & Silverton. Jarrett was obsessed with TRAIN..every chance we got we had to watch it...and that was a ton.
We took our JEEP again this year and it was awesome to have a roof over our head for the daily rain storms. Once again it was beautiful and nice a COOL. The wild flowers were every where and the mountains are amazing and beautiful, they look like they are covered in velvet. We spent the week exploring old Ghost towns, Gold/Silver Mills & Mines. It is amazing what those miners accomplished. It was a very hard way to make a living.
My Mom, Sister and Aunt Karen were also up there on there annual GIRLS TRIP. It was fun to hangout with them for a fews days.
We love it and can't wait until winter and we can go back and snowmobile.

Hunter and Hayes where in Monroe for the week Jarrett and I started off our weekend early....in the city of lights (Vegas) with James. Vegas is our second home right now, He is opening another store down there. While he worked we shopped and hung out at the pool. Who could complain about that? He did get to go Cesar's one night with us and made it to the pool for a little while.
We bombed home got the trailer ready and off to the KIABAB we went for the next 3 days with my Dad, Aunt Karen & Uncle Robert & Dave & Mal. The Kiabab National forest is beautiful. Huge Ponderosa Pines and where we camp it is only about 5 miles from the edge of the North Rim of the GRAND CANYON. It was cool and and rainy but awesome. I didn't take very many pic's because we where on our dirt bikes most of the. But here is a few from camp.

I can't seem to find the time to keep this thing up-to-date. Everyone has been after me to update it so here ya go. Here is a few things that we have been doing in the last month or so to keep busy. All I know is that I am so HaPPy that summer is here. I am ready to relax, swim, lay out, camp, and go on a few road trips, well that is after baseball and swimming is over. Last weekend we finally had a free weekend to go camping. We headed out to the Arizona Strip for a weekend of FuN with Dave & Mal. It was BEAUTIFUL the flowers where blooming and you could smell them for miles.Jarrett found a new best friend....Mr. Horneytoad. We found him while riding and he held on to him for 2 miles then wouldn't let him out of his sight.

I graduated....to a BIGGER, BETTER, FASTER dirt bike anyway. This is my first dirt bike...

I have loved it and have rode it many miles, PLUS It's is so darn cute.

As I started riding more I decided that I wanted a bike that I had better suspension and that could go on the sand.

SO this is my new TOY...I LOVE IT! It is a BLAST!

It is a KX 125. I removed all the graphics and I am having new ones made. I put the new number on it and a saying "Dirt for make-up, Gasoline for perfume" so funny!

The Pink one is FOR SALE if anyone is interested. It is a 2005 150 cc. 4 stroke. Perfect first time bike. It is great condition.

SuPerCross Finals

The Supercross Finals have come and gone again..so sad! We love, love, love it! I am very happy to say that James "Bubba" Stewart WON the championship. And my new favorite ride Ryan Villopoto won the final heat.

We had the BEST seats this year, first row off the track. We where so close that we kept getting hit by rocks filing off the tires. It was very up close and personal. Captian Phil and his son from "The Deadliest Catch" was there again. Also one of the MY favorite freestyle riders and my husband from another life... Kari Hart (for those of you that are thinking who the?? He is married to PINK)! We where lucky enough to meet him in October with Hunter and Hayes in October at the Supercross open. Cowboy Kenny (J's Fav.) was there with his CRAZY freestyle gang doing all kinds of insane tricks. Can't wait tll October.

Every two weeks like clock work I am at my girlfriend Melanie's house get my nails done and for the first few minutes we have to catch up from the last two weeks then we start talking about FOOD...RECIPES....and of course our addiction to COUPONS. So, I came across this TERRIFIC site that has wonderful, real, and mainly simple recipes with pictures....gotta have pictures! Before you go check it out let me tell you that I have made many of the recipes and they have turned out PERFECT and so YUMMY! If you are like me and have a husband that loves "MEN FOOD" this is the place.
OK! OK! OK! Wait one more thing...It's just not a recipe site she has photography, home & garden, & much much more. But I LOVE the recipes. I have made the "Man-Pleasin'. Delicious twice baked potatoes, Refried Beans, Rolls & Pie shells this past week. All a huge hit.

February 28th, Hunter was baptised. We are all so proud of him that he made the decision to do so. It was an AmaZing day not only for him but for the rest of us. Hunter has this very special spirit about him that just GLOWS and effects everyone around him. He is loves learning about Heavenly father and Jesus.

He decided that he wanted to have his GREAT Grandpa Fotheringham baptise him and his Grandpa Gardner confirm him. I wish I could put into words what it was like watching my oldest son and my Grandfather ALL in white walk down the step together into the baptismal font hand in hand. It was an unforgetable moment in time for all of us. My Grandpa is the most handsome , loving, caring, talented and funny men I will ever know. He baptised my Mom (oldest child), Me(oldest grandchild, and now Hunter (oldest great-grandchild).

His Grandpa Gardner gave him an amazing blessing. He blessed him when he was a baby and now to confirm him was so perfect.

It was our wards turn in our stake to put on the program, so since Hunter was the only one in our ward getting baptised that night it was up to us. He ask his Grandma Gardner to give a talk on baptism, she did an AMAZING job! They have this amazing bond with each other. She enlarged some amazing pictures poster size from the book REFLECTIONS OF CHRIST by Mark Mabry. If you aren't familiar with this book it is one of my favorites you need to check it out. Thanks MOM!

He also had his Uncle Jace give a talk on the Holy Ghost! He also did a TERRIFIC job! Hunter has always looked up to him! Thanks JACE!

He had alot of people come and support him! It was a GREAT day!

OK Lind's..When? and Where?

I need a vacation! Far, Far Away! Since Lind's and I where hit by the crazy DRUNK strippers from Vegas life hasn't been the same. It seems these days all my life consists of is Doctors, Doctors, Doctors, Physical Therapy and Lind's and I trading our kids back and forth, because she has as many appointments as I do. I am so sick of it. Two weeks ago I had 15 Cortizone shot in my skull, neck and back..I know OUCH! Didn't work so it's off for a MRI tomorrow. Hopefully they will figure out what the issues are.

I am in desperate need of something to look forward to...SO...What better than a vacation with great friends!

Pack your bag's (Brennon & Lind's and Rob & Nese)! Lets go! And who ever else that would like to join us! There are a few requirements that you will have to follow in order to come with us.
1. In desperate need of some serious R&R
2. No Kiddos..as much as we all love them I am ready for a ROMANTIC getaway
3. No cell Phones are allowed....I hope my husband will survive...lol
4. Have to be able to stay up late and have FUN and SLEEP IN very. very late
5. And have a yearning to lay on the beach to get that perfect tan and read a good book.

Finally went riding

Can you believe that last Saturday (Jan. 31) it was it the 60's here in St. George! Gotta love it! We (James, Dave & I) loaded up our dirt bikes and headed to the desert. Finally...I haven't been able to ride since the crazy drunk driver accident. It was such a beautiful day it was perfect for riding. We are so lucky to live in a place that we can do that in January and not be freezing cold. While we where riding the choke on my bike kept vibrating up and would cause my bike to stop running about every couple of miles. James being the "FIX ANYTHING GUY" "SURVIVAL NUT" cut apart a YUCCA plant and used the treads from part of the plant to hold down the choke..CRAZY! I have seen him fix millions of things that I thought had no chance of being fix to being almost back to new. But, this was pretty impressive! Good Job Honey! You always seem to amaze me. I Love you!

Here are a few pictures of JARRETT with his pet chickens...WELL..he thinks that they are his pets. My Dad has a bunch of chickens and Jarrett just loves feeding them, collecting the millions of eggs they leg each day and most of catching & holding them. He is not afraid them at all. He walks in the chicken coop like he rules the roost and grabs them with one try. He even will go after the roosters with the huge spurs on their feet, some of them are taller than him. He has no fear...BOYS!

Christmas

We had another terrific Christmas....We have a hard time staying home on the weekends and holidays and Christmas is not exception. Last year for Christmas we went to Hawaii and had so much fun we did not think that any thing could top it. This year my amazing mother planned yet another memorable trip. This year we headed to the SNOW for 5 days...my parents rented a huge 3 story cabin and snowmobiles on Cedar Mountain. It was so beautiful up there, is snowed the entire time we were there closing the roads on Christmas day...snowed in...DANG! We loved having the snowmobiles, being able to see the beautiful back country. It was awesome to see my Grandparents even enjoy rinding them. It was a much needed trip for all of us to do nothing but relax, eat, and enjoy each other.

Thanks goodness Santa had no trouble finding the boys, they received a TON of fun stuff. We got a XBox 360 and Guitar Hero World Tour, which is a total blast.

Christmas Eve The Miller Family came up to play with us for the day. We love them so much and they have become part of our family.

Thanks Mom for being the BEST! We are so lucky that you ALWAYS plan these amazing trips for us! We love you so much!

December 21st was James' birthday! What where his parents thinking???? A birthday 4 days before Christmas...they weren't. Ha! Ha!
He is spoiled rotten! He got lots of Under Armour & Nike clothes (His Fav.), Tools, Barnes & Noble gift cards, much need church shirts and an awesome Redneck Flag! Gotta love it!
He is such an AMAZING MAN here are a few reasons (seriuos and funny) of why I can't imagine my life without him....

He can do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING and makes it look so simple (except swim)
During the week he is a TOTAL business man and on weekends he transforms into one of
his million hobbies...riding his dirtbike, hunting everything, backpacking/hiking, golf, RC cars, reloading, jeepin', being a red neck etc....etc....etc...
He loves clothes more than me these day.....His side of the closet his fuller than mine
He has a magnetic personality and sense of humor
There is never a dull moment in our house
He has recently read the entire series of Twilight books while sitting on the toilet....
He ALWAYS puts me and the boys first, He is a TERRIFIC father, teacher and friend
to the boys.
He is my ROCK!!

Hit by a DRUNK DRIVER...ouch!

I stole the following post from Lindsey's blog.......
It has been a crazy past few days. On Thursday Dec. 4 my best friend, Jen and I were driving on I-15 heading southbound into Green Valley. We were hit from behind by a drunk driver who was speeding (going about 85 or 90). We were going along when she clipped the back drivers side of my car and sent us into a tail spin across the freeway. Before we knew what had happened the car flipped on it's side. We were in shock, frantically trying to get out of the car. All I could think of was getting out of the car "before it blew up." (I think I have seen too many movies.) Many people stopped to help, which I was very grateful for. We walked away with only a few bruises and "cervical strains", better known as whiplash. After I cussed out the drunk drivers, we went to the hospital to get checked out. It was a long night but, I am so grateful that we were okay, this could of ended much worse. I know there were Angels there watching over us! I am so blessed that I didn't lose my best friend Jen and that we both came home to our beautiful children and our wonderful husbands. Life is so Fragile. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for protecting us, keeping us safe through this very scary incident. You just never know when life can change, it can be in a blink of an eye. I hope that you all know how much I love you and how blessed I am to have a great family and many great friends.
*I want Jen to know how much I love her. I don't know what I would do without her in my life, and I am so glad she is okay!

You never know what's going to happen to you when you walk out your door. Lindsey and I are so lucky and thankful that we where being watched over that night. This is the first major accident that either of us have been and it makes me realize not to take for granted what a Wonderful life I have. I have an AMAZING husband, Terrific kids and Great Friends.
On a funny note...Not only did Lindsey cuss out the drunk stripper (Yes! Stripper from LV) and the passenger that hit us, She shocked James, which takes allot. He told her that he didn't think she knew those kinds of words...lol

Lindsey, You are such a BEAUTIFUL person! I am so lucky that you insisted that BIG & FAT pregnant Ol' ME and You, my new neighbor be friends. I love you and thanks for always being there for me! Your the BEST!

Motocross Madness...

The last few weekends we have been out riding our dirt bikes. It is the perfect time to ride now that it's not blazzin' HOT. Hunter is getting ready to take his motorcycle class so that he can ride "legally" on public land....hate that law. It's a $90.00 ticket if they are under 8 yrs old or haven't taken the course. Anyway..we all love it. Dave (adopted son) just got a bike and he is now addicted as much as we are.

Traditional Thanksgiving

We have the FUNNEST Thanksgivings..Thanks to my AMAZING MOTHER! For those of you that know my Mom know how she makes ALL celebrations something to remember. She is always coming up with new traditions and she always goes WAY WAY WAY above & beyond to make it fun.

Last year for Thanksgiving she decided that we where going to have a Traditional Thanksgiving and cook all most EVERYTHING out side in the fire pit in the dutch ovens.... YUMMY!

AND dress up like pilgrim's...Hunter, Hayes & Jarrett where the Indians.

We have a program about the pilgrim that consists of singing, lighting a candle before dinner and blowing out at the end, gratitude platter, etc....

Needless to say it was AMAZING..we all loved it...and it has now become a Family Tradition.

We did it again this year and had just as much fun. James, Jarrett & I dressed up like Indians because Hunter & Hayes where with Chris this year.

November 30th Hunter turned 8! The years have flown by so fast. What he wanted 4 his birthday was a Remote Controlled TRAXXAS Monster Truck....that runs on Gas and goes up to 45 mph....We seen these at the airshow last month and that's all he could talked about.
For his birthday party on Tuesday we went to Jumpin' Jacks, had a blast and then back home for dinner and gifts....while a Jumpin' Jacks Hunter tells me he doesn't feel so good and he is white as a ghost..sure enough he had the flu. He could hardly open his gifts...poor kiddo. But over all he had a great birthday and was spoiled rotten....as always.

On Saturday we headed back to Vegas for the Aviation Nation AIRSHOW at Nellis Air Force Base. We went with Brennon & Linds and Rich & Joni and all the KIDDO'S. What where we thinking.......no really the kids all had a great time together and loved all the planes but HATED the noise. None of them would keep their ear plugs in. It was awesome to see all those amazing planes. Our two favorites where THE THUNDERBIRDS & the new F-22 Raptor , this aircraft has a price tag of 1 BILLION each to built..Holy Cow! Miller's & Blackmore's it was a BLAST can't wait to do it again soon. We missed ya all at Toys-R-Us.

I take tonZ and tonZ of pictures, I am sure you all do to. So you know how important having a camera that you LoVe is.

I have this SONY camera

that I bought about 3 years ago and I have LoVed..loVed...loVed this camera. It has been EVERY where From the BoTToM of the GRAND CANYON to CANADA. It's been dropped, (Nascar security dropped it after I had only had it only one week & broke the setting dial. We glued it back on and just now stopped working) been in the SAND, SNOW & RAIN And taken some amazing PiC's..I would highly recommend if anyone needs a new camera for a pretty good price.

After searching for a month for "the PERFECT camera" and I wanted a step above my last camera I finally decided on this camera.It's on OLYMPUS Evolt it has 2 detachable lens and all the bells & whistles. OOOH my gosh...I think I need some kind of camera degree to run this thing. Once I figure out how to run it I am sure I am going to love it as much as my last one..I'll post some pictures Monday and ya'll can tell me what cha think.

Mt. Carmel Ride

7:00 am came way to early after a long night of Halloween and only about 3 hours sleep. But we had no problem getting up because we where off to do the 4-wheeler ride from The Cain Beds, which just out side of Colorado City to Mt. Carmel Junction. This ride is so much fun and BeAuTifuL!!!! For the first part of the ride you in the cedars and the sand with the back side of ZION in the distance, then drop down in to this huge canyon and you have to cross the river about 20 times, which at some points can be vary tricky. Between James and my Dad they are always trying to get everyone soaking wet. The leaves on most of the trees where just changing and where beautiful. Jarrett loves riding in the Artic Cat with "Pa Pa" he was a PERFECT little man all day! We where even so lucky to have my Aunt Karen & Uncle Robert come over from Colorado to ride with us. They are both so much FUN. It was a good thing they did because my Dad's truck lost the transmission trying to get out of the sand. Anyway..if anyone whats to go let us know and we would love to take ya.

Halloween Fun

Well...Halloween has come and gone....so sad! We had a fun day it started bright and early so I could get all 3 boYs mummified for school..and get myself also ready...exhausting! Hunter and Hayes both had fun parties in their classes that I helped with. Then home for a brief rest then off to "The Milllers" for a YuMMy DiNNer....Thanks Linds! Then off to do a little TrIcK oR TrEatinG...After that we drop JaRRett off to have a sleep over with GranDma, Thanks a million mom! ..and off to another PaRty with the people that James works with.....it was a blast. Can'T WAIT tIll NeXt YEAR!

Saturdays are always so crazy busy....but always FUN! This last Saturday started off with Hunter's FOOTBALL game. He played terrific! He loves being the QB.

Then we had to hurry home to get the boys "mummified" for the Coral Canyon Elem. Halloween carnival. After and an hour plus long process we finally made it to the carnival and ran around playing all the games like crazy people....the boys look so terrific as mummies. Their costumes held up great until they hit the jumbo bounce slide and they began to unravel...oh well! They had a great time!

.....Then we made our way home again and began the process all over again but in reverse....crazy!

...Then it would totally against our nature to stay home and relax, so we packed up our cooler and loaded up in the JEEP and off to the Sand Dunes we went...with Grandpa Kimball, Dave & Malorie. Last Friday we went to Sand Dunes for dinner and now that it's not blazin' HOT outside we can't stay away. The pic's are from last weekend and this weekend.

Hayes' 1st field trip

I know that school is in full swing when field trips start. Hayes had his 1st field trip to Staheli Family Farm & Corn Maze. He was so excited to go, he couldn't wait to ride the BUS! He had never been on a SCHOOL Bus before. We got to meet some cool animals, take a ride in a hAy wagon to the PumPkin paTch and tried to get lost in the corn maze. We had a great time....I can't wait to do it again with him again.

While in Vegas we had to hit M&M World. The boys love it. It is a HUGE store -4 levels- and wall TO wall PeOpLe. Who can pass up M&M's in every single color and flavor...they are ONLY $11.99 per pound..ouch! Oh well...it's so fun to turn the dial and watch the candy fall into your bag.

Rockstar Energy Supercross US Open

Riding our dirt bikes is a HUGE part of our life and we LOVE it! We love going to watch SUPERCROSS and we decided to take Hunter & Hayes with us to Vegas to watch the US OPEN at the MGM a few weeks ago. We had PIT passes so they got to see the riders and their bike up close and personal. They got to meet Carey Hart. He signed their shirts. He's known for turning huge back flips on his motorcycle and flipping head over heels for P!nk (the singer). Carey Hart is one of the planet's most electrifying motocross riders who is willing to take just about any risk and break almost any bone in his body to create magic on his motorcycle. He started riding when he was 4. Hayes started at 3. Hunter at 5. They where also able to meet James "Bubba" Stewart. Referred to as the Tiger Woods of supercross. He is known for his tenacity, speed and being the first African American to dominate the sport of motocross. It was a long day but the boys had a blast and can't wait to go in May again. Hayes was disappointed because he only want to see Ricky Carmicheal

Hunter Rock Climbing

On Tuesday Hunter Had his first ROCK CLIMBING classes with his BFF Zack. The class only has 3 kids in it with two instructors so they get alot of one on one time. He was very excited and nervous at first, I was so impressed and so proud of him, he took right to it and was able to go to the top 4 times... The next morning his arms, abs & chest where very sore, He told me "Mom I am going to get HUGE muscles doing rock climbing" He can't wait to go next week.

Every year I try to so something out the norm and so this year I got this GREAT idea to cut down a burned tree(s) I wanted a entire forest..but James' said " where the heck would we put them all?" He already thought I was crazy and I guess he had a good point. LOL and turn tree's it into a HauNteD TrEE! So oFF we went to the "haunted Forest" --Hunter To get our tree. Well, we came home with tWo trees and entire sack of BoNeS.....scary! I think we collected and entire dead cow. After adding some lights, scary heads, spider web, and pumpkin and the BONEs I think it turned out great and looks awesome at night. The boys said " now we get to cut down trees at Halloween and Christmas" HaPPy HaLLoWeen EvErYoNe

Family Home Evening

Who doesn't like a good hot dog roast? My parent's have a fire pit in their backyard and one of the kid's (and ours) favorite thing to do is roast dogs or anything that will attach to the end of the stick or that can be cooked by fire or hot coals. They run like wild animals climbing the apple trees and chasing the chickens having a blast.

I hate Snakes....I know what some of you are thinking "Your kids have one as a pet" YES! for a few years we where snake tending for my brother-in-law Cameron while he was away playing ARMY. The snake that we had was a Ball Python and very mellow. The boys loved him and Hunter even took him to "pet day" at school. But RATTLESNAKES are another story. The only good rattlesnake ia a DEAD one!! This one is now D E A D! James shot it and cut off the rattle so the boys could have it. I was freaking out.

OK so while I was preGo and found out that "IT'S A BOY" (Jarrett) I thought "no problem I know boys" I had already had TWO amaZing, CraZy, LoVing, handsOme little boYs. BOY..... was I wrong!! Jarrett has now decided that his belly is a PIGGY BANK. Last Saturday we went to visit insta-care again...2nd Sat. in a row. He swallowed some pennies. He is 18 months going on 5. He thinks he can do EVERYTHING his older BROTHERS do. He is a walking tornado.....It's a good thing he is so darn adorable I can't get to mad at him. I will scan in the x-ray and post it. Gotta love it!

Everyone that knows us knows that we LOVE Nascar! Last weekend was the Truck race and so off to VEGAS we went. It was a much needed break from everyday life. Just the two of us went this year and we had a BLAST. We had Pit Passes and infield parking passes so we spent the entire race over in the pits watching the race. It is the place to be during any race...that is where all the action is. SHAKE & BAKE!

Jarrett's First Stitches

I always thought that HAYES would be the first one with stitches. Well....I was wrong! Jarrett was the first. He found my sewing scissors that are super sharp and cut his lip wide open. I thought he was playing with the boys in their room...but NOPE! He came walking into my room and he had RED all over his face and my first thought was "he has been in the MARKERS again" then I quickly realized it was BLOOD. He is such a TUFF little guy, he didn't crying until I started to freak out. He ended up with 2 stitches in his upper lip.

Cutest Baby Contest

Since Jerrett was born Deanna (James' Mom) has been trying to talk me into putting Jer into some kind of baby contest....Well I FINALLY did. The Washington County Fair had a Cutest Baby Contest so we entered him.
HE WON! His age group. They started out with around 150 kids the first day then narrowed it down to 48 for the final contest the next day. A Big THANKS to my Mom, Shara and my cousin Kristy for taking him to the contest because James and I had to go out of town. We are so proud to be his parents. We love him so much and we are so LUCKY to have him as part of our family. We think he is "The Cutest Baby in Washington County" lol

Hayes had TERRIFIC birthday. We went to the NEW Washington City Rec. Center to SwIm. It was our first time and it was a Blast!!! The kids loved it and so did all the ADULTS, especially Grandma Kathy. We couldn't get her off the Hydro Tube. Hayes LOVED his JEEP! Thank goodness! He received allot of really cool GiFts. Only 364 more days till his next birthday. I hope he can wait that long!!!!!

After months & months of asking "Mom how many more days is my Birthday?" The day has FINALLY.........aRRIved!!!! Hayes' BIRTHDAY. He is turning 6. For weeks I have been asking him what he wants for his birthday and his response every time is "Surprise ME!" Then a few days ago he finally decided that he wanted a remote control JEEP, one that is like our jeep. So off on the hunt we went. I hope he loves it.

I am VERY happy to announce that J's new "PROJECT" had it's FIRST trip. We took the Jeep to Silverton and it "ROCKED" - J. It was GREAT and it was so nice to be out of the rain and not have to worry about Jarrett getting cold or wet. This is a PERFECT new addition to our family. James and the boys named it "Daddy Daycare" how cute is that.

For the 24th holiday we (I) packed our bags with Sweatshirts, gloves, beanies, Thermals, UnderArmour, Helmets and rainGear and OFF we went. Are wondering where the HECK we went to need all that WiNter gear? Well... we went to the most beautiful mountains in Silverton, CO. For those of you that have been there I am sure that you will agree with me. I will give you a little history about this little but Amazing dirt road town. It once was a HUGE Gold mining town. During the gold boom people flocked here to work in the mines that are scattered all across the mountain sides. The miners would live in buildings that they would build way up on the side of mountain at 13,000 feet up. They would build these so when the miners where done working for the day they would get on a makeshift elevator that looks like a coffin and ride it from the work site inside the mountain to there bed basically. It was a short but scary commute. LOL The Down town is filled with so much History. Almost all the old hotels/Bed and Breakfasts are still in operation and most are HAUNTED according to most employees. My mom took the boys into The Grand Imperial Hotel to be "Ghostbusters" , the legend says that a Dr. Luigie died in room 12 and refuses to leave. When he was alive he would sit and smoke in a this BIG green chair that they still have on the top floor. They say that almost every day that the hotel guests report the smell of smoke around that chair?????? The boys went to check it out but came up empty...DARN. Many guests have report seeing the Dr. all over the Hotel. Visiting Silverton is like going back in time. This is 1 of our FAVORITE places to vacation EVERY year. The Colorado Rockies are amazing, spectacular, majestic mountains. Every year we get rained or snowed on and we love it. The boys love putting on their rain gear and helmets and being able to ride in the Artic Cat with Grandma.

Hayes LoSt His 1st tOOth

Well it's OFFICALLY HaYes has become a part of the Toothfairy Club! He Lost his first tooth Last Week.... with the help of GranDpa. His tooth was just hanging on and GranDpa talked him into putting a string around it to pull it. Well he Couldn't get the string around it so he just Flicked it out with his finger. Hayes was Shocked that it came out so fast and then he saw the BLOOD and..... FREAKED out. But in the end he was HaPPY. He is now "Loaded", 10 big ONES fron GrandPa and 2 from the TooTHfaiRy.
